Volvo Drivers, Be Aware Of This Consumer Alert

There are plenty of brands and models to choose from when buying a car. Some folks elect to go with Ford, Chevrolet, or Dodge rides. Meanwhile, others pick Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, or Volvo vehicles. It all depends on what the consumer is looking for and wants. However, those that got a new Volvo recently need to pay close attention to this post.

The safe and dependable ride you selected has a few problems you should know about, and we will be getting to them shortly. First, let's discuss recalls and lawsuits. If a person gets into an accident or becomes hurt by a defective car or part, they may be entitled to fair compensation from the manufacturer. They must be able to prove they didn't have prior knowledge of the recall or that their injuries occurred before it was issued.

That sounds like quite a tall order, but it doesn't have to be. Victims do not have to face such situations alone. Instead, they can contact us and put our firm to work for them. The team prepares each case for trial, but many times, claims are settled out of court. Why? We have an upstanding reputation in the legal industry, and defendant lawyers don't want us getting in front of a jury with an injured client.

Our attorneys, and the rest of the team, fight and negotiate on behalf of victims. They also help them get the needed care to treat their injuries. The initial case evaluation is free. Doesn't that sound nice? Floridians shouldn't have to break the bank to see where their claims stand. Additionally, our clients only have to pay when their personal injury cases win. So, what are you waiting for? Give us a call, and let's get you the compensation you deserve.

It's Time To Discuss What's Happening With Volvo Vehicles

Volvo Car USA, LLC, is expected to issue recall R10068 on February 19, 2021, for approximately 2,883 affected units. The 2021 models included are as follows.

• Volvo V60 And V60 Cross Country
• V90 And V90 Cross Country
• XC60 And XC90 Vehicles

Apparently, the SRS control unit in these cars can detach. When that happens, the occupant protection systems will have decreased performance. That means the high-voltage battery disconnect may not work correctly. Nor will the seat belts or airbags. Thus, if a crash occurs, this problem increases the risk of injury further. Now, nothing about that sounds good.

Injuries That Often Come To Fruition Because Of Car Crashes

Crash outcomes vary from one incident to the next. Sometimes, but not always, people are able to walk away from the events without so much as a scratch. However, more often than not, that is not the case. Many victims sustain fractures and broken bones. They also get deep cuts and lacerations. You know, not little ones that band-aids will fix, but rather, the kinds that need stitches. Drivers and passengers can become burnt when fires break out, and they are still inside cars.

Traumatic brain injuries can enter the picture as well. These issues occur daily in wrecks, but if safety features aren't working quite right because of a detached SRS control unit, it is anybody's guess as to how significant the occupant's injuries will be. So, if a recalled vehicle throws your life in turmoil, please, don't hesitate to give our office a call. The team will go above and beyond your expectations with friendly and trustworthy service. Perhaps, most importantly, though, we will build a strong case to win you the money you need to recover.
