Yes, you may be entitled to workers’ compensation benefits despite your preexisting condition; however, this is an issue the workers’ compensation carriers love to fight about.
Employers and their insurance companies are responsible for providing workers’ compensation benefits for work-related injuries and illnesses, even though the employee suffers from a preexisting condition. However, if you have a preexisting condition and your “work injury” combines with that preexisting condition, you may only receive medical care and wage benefits for as long as the work injury was and remains the major contributing cause (MCC) of the disability or need for treatment. read more about this here

Helping The Hungry Over The Holidays
Southwest Florida has been growing exponentially year over year lately, but the benefit of all that economic growth has not been received by everyone. Many families and older retirees are in need, that need is never felt more than during the Holidays.
Fortunately the southwest Florida community is generous and benefits from having several charitable organizations that are working to end hunger for SW Florida families. Chief among the organizations is All Faiths Food Bank that has several locations in our area.

Jennifer performed at the Comedy For A Cause event held by the Charlotte Players Saturday, September 29th at the Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center.
Comedy for a Cause is the Charlotte Players’ Annual Fundraiser - spend a fun night out, have some laughs, and help us support Jennifer and our local Performing Arts community.
The Charlotte Players strives to enhance the cultural quality of life for residents of the Charlotte County area by offering local performances and supporting both audiences and performers.
Since their beginning in 1961 at the North Port Community Center, the Charlotte Players have been performing and raising awareness of the joys and opportunities that the local performing arts.
